Square-foot Gardening - it's somehow strange, I feel it rather as a trendy fashion than as real gardening. You know, various plants have various sizes, so the attempt to "standardize" them sounds like a textbook for children. And in between the plants there is lots of empty space available to be overgrown by weeds. This could be used for other usefull plants. But - maybe I've overseen something contributing in this concept, I have not studied it in detail.
Never mind - as I am a rather underorganised person, my garden resembles closely my personality and clearly lacks organisation, too. But it is much closer to nature, I suppose:)
